About Get Off
Britain is renowned as a nation of animal lovers. With 42%* of Great Britain's population owning at least one cat or dog, the odds are if you don't own one yourself, your neighbour is likely to.
Dogs are our faithful companions whilst, cats are our sometimes aloof, yet nevertheless affectionate friends. All this love comes at a somewhat unpleasant, yet unavoidable price: according to some sources, in excess of 900 tonnes of it, every day! What's more, you find it everywhere: pavements; parks; driveways; and perhaps most frustratingly if you are not a pet owner: in your own garden too.
A single dog will produce up to half a ton of faeces across an average 10 year lifespan, so perhaps it's not surprising 66%* of people (whether they have their own pet or not) state that it really annoys them when other peoples pets use their garden as a toilet. Shockingly almost half* the population of non pet owners admit they have trodden in animal excrement on their own property.
If you are a cat or dog owner, you probably accept that your pet will foul in your garden, but that doesn't mean that you want them to destroy it or ruin those delicate blooms you've been nurturing. Likewise, you probably accept that there will be a few little accidents in the house, especially during house training, but that doesn't mean you want it to become a habit.
Did you know that 47%* of the population do not believe that there is anything you can do?
As pet lovers ourselves, we do not believe that extreme measures are the answer to protecting your property or at least certain areas of it. So what can be done?
There is an easier way... Get Off
Get Off offers a harmless, yet dramatically effective solution to preventing animals from fouling treated areas. Get Off releases a scent that cats and dogs hate, repelling them from the treated area: result: cat or dog do their business elsewhere, no arguments with the neighbours, no more frustration for you! *Research conducted by Akadine Research on behalf of Guaber UK Ltd, January 2007. Study with 1005 adults (18yrs+) spread across Great Britain (weighted data to match GB population)
